We've had 4 in. of rain this week. But today it's sunny and warm! It's also the first day of spring! Time to put away the sweaters (I hope!) and bring out the pastels! :)
My week has gone well, although it has been a long one. I started my new job, which has been an awesome Blessing. I absolutely love it! I have a great schedule too, so I still am at home tons with my family. Tonight I have the evening shift, which I am looking forward to. And tomorrow is Good Friday, a very special and important day! The day Jesus was crucified! I have a tradition with my sibs, we all watch the Passion of the Christ together, which is a great movie and awesome reminder! We also color and decorate Easter eggs, mostly with crosses and we always make one for each member of the family.
My Dad is off all weekend, so I am so thrilled about that. He's hardly ever off, so we're going to enjoy it! Sunday, is Easter, and my sis and her fiance will be here as will my grandmother and uncle. I finally got some Easter cards made. I ended up making different ones for everyone and I think they turned out nicely. I used John 3:16 For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. That verse just fits it all!
I also made a post-it note holder that my friend Bridgett showed me how to make. They're SO cute and make such great gifts! I made one with orange color themes for my sis, cause she loves orange and summer colors. I've been working on just making any cards for any occasion, that way I can just grab one and let someone have one for their use. It's a lot of fun, but takes a lot of time and clean up. LOL.
In April, I'm planning and hoping to host a FunShop at my church for the Angel Company. My friend Bridgett, will help me though, cause she's awesome at it and has all the skills. But we're wanting to show some women how to make cards and a few other, easy and quick projects and mostly promote the Lord in it all. So I'm praying that works out and is a success!
ALSO- I hope EVERYONE has an amazing weekend in Jesus. A song you must hear, whether you're into Contemporary Christian music or not, listen to "Sweetly Broken" by Jeremy Riddle if you can somehow. It's an amazing song about the Cross and will Bless you! I cherish that song! But may you all be in awe of what He did for us and celebrate in His glorious resurrection! Happy Easter! LOVE, Hannah
